DIY: the musical horn (5 pics)

DIY Musical Horn: Hardware

  • 150 cm of electrical sheath
  • A funnel
  • Electricity tape rolls: one red, one blue and one yellow and green
  • Adhesive stickers
  • A pair of scissors.

    • Step 1

    Press the funnel tube into one end of the electrical sleeve and hold the fitting by wrapping several turns of blue tape around it.
    Overlap each turn of ribbon.

    2nd step

    Form a circle about 25 cm in diameter in the middle of the length of the sheath.
    Hold this circle by wrapping several rounds of yellow and green tape on the crossover.

    Step 3

    Decorate the length of sheath by wrapping lengths of adhesive tapes alternating the three colors.
    Finish the horn by sticking stickers on the funnel.

    How it works ?


    Just blow into the horn to produce a sound that, attention, can be quite strident!
    > Ideal for marching with fanfare or being heard in the stands of a sporting event.

    Where to find the material: in a DIY store you will find the sheath and adhesive tapes in the electricity department. The sheath is available in several diameters that will produce different sounds.
